About the Role
As a Transportation Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient transport flows across the region. You'll be the central point of contact for transport-related questions, provide operational support to internal teams, and help analyse performance data that drives strategic decisions.
This position is ideal for graduates or early-career professionals who want to grow in transport, logistics and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Support
* Monitor daily shipping activities from regional distribution hubs
* Track & trace priority transport lanes to ensure on-time delivery
* Support claim handling with logistics partners and assist with customer transport issues
* Serve as the main contact for the Customer Service team to resolve en‑route incidents
* Assist with transport bookings for special or non-standard shipments
* Help maintain documentation and update SOPs
Analytics & Reporting
* Analyse transport performance data and support cost‑saving initiatives
* Prepare KPI‑based reports and volume/cost analyses for regional stakeholders
* Provide transport-related input for the Monthly Operations Report
* Liaise with the Freight Bill Audit & Payment provider
* Investigate transport invoice discrepancies and support issue resolution
* Assist with data and coding corrections in the freight invoicing system
Your profile
* First experience or strong interest in transportation, forwarding or logistics operations
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Excellent command of English (Dutch is a plus)
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
* Basic knowledge of logistics processes and Incoterms
* A proactive, collaborative mindset and willingness to support the team
