Summary
You have a M.Sc. or Ph.D. in electrical engineering and a solid expertise in PLL (phase-locked loop) and analog/mixed-signal IC design. You worked with advanced bulk CMOS technology nodes. You are eager to join a dynamic team developing cutting-edge technology products for next generation mmWave applications. You are a self-motivated and efficient team member with good communication skills.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a PLL IC designer to own PLL design and implementation as well as contribute to other Analog/Mixed-Signal parts of the IC including amplifiers, filters, PMU, calibration and biasing circuits.
Responsibilities include:
* designing and modeling PLL systems,
* designing PLL blocks (e.g., PFD, CP, loop filter, divider, VCO),
* designing baseband amplifiers, filters, multipliers, XO, PMU and biasing circuits,
* implementing ESD, DFT and calibration blocks and methods,
* developing test plans and contributing to validation and characterization campaigns.
Requirements
The successful candidate has solid expertise in PLL and analog/mixed-signal IC design and a proven production track record.
Following requirements are a must, candidates must tick all boxes to be considered:
* degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 7 years of industrial experience in PLL and analog/mixed-signal IC design,
* expertise in PLL circuit and system design,
* experience with analog/mixed-signal design,
* design experience with bulk CMOS and high frequency (at least 5GHz);
* DFT and PVT-aware design experience including biasing blocks (e.g., Bandgap, PTAT, LDO, etc.),
* key contribution to successful product chips with PLL and analog/mixed-signal circuits,
* advanced use of the Cadence Virtuoso custom IC tool suite.
Following experiences will make you stand out:
* millimeter-wave VCO and PLL,
* other analog/mixed-signal circuit design,
* mixed-signal top-level simulation and verification,
* ESD design and strategy, and chip finishing (e.g., IO ring design),
* VHDL(A)/Verilog(A),
* Python/Matlab,
* lab verification, characterization, and ATE data review and correlation to simulations of analog/mixed-signal blocks and sub-systems.
