Overview

As a Technical Account Manager, you play a critical part in our sales team, aiding the execution of industry-focused, prescriptive and value-driven sales strategies. You will develop business relationships with customers and prospects to form comprehensive expansion plans utilizing data-driven insights.

You will collaborate with customers to identify land and expand opportunities, crafting business cases that address their challenges using industry insights. You will lead the formulation of engagement strategies for qualified enterprise opportunities and develop strategic customer roadmaps pinpointing expansion opportunities within organizations.

Your responsibilities include creating technical/solution plans for SaaS or Hybrid SaaS which align with customers' business plans and conveying the benefits of these solutions to C-suite executives. Conducting stakeholder interviews to collate business requirements, proposing solutions that enhance customer processes, and building a trusted advisor status forms an integral part of your role.

You will rely on sales campaigns to generate new business opportunities and use unique differentiators to close sales. You will prepare compelling ROI analyses and align customer-facing materials with their business value. In supporting the Siemens bid proposal team, you will respond to RFPs and lead both proposal and benchmark teams.

Your active participation in internal account reviews will be necessary, as well as understanding and contributing to the software forecast and pipeline for key accounts. As the go-to person for creating value propositions, you will foster an internal knowledge network and mentor other team members in software sales and industry expertise.

Technical Account Manager should be viewed as trusted advisors by their customers and prospects.

Job excellence and focus on results are fundamental targets for this position.


Responsibilities

* Co-create projects/value propositions specific to existing customer or prospect

* Communicate projects/value propositions specific to existing customer or prospect

* Coordinate people for design of projects/value propositions from multi roles team

* Prepare and present financially qualified value propositions business cases


Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

What knowledge/skills, education, and experiences are required to be considered for this position.

* Required industry experience, focus industries are Energy and Process (Oil&Gas and/or Mining and/or Pulp&Paper and/or Capital Projects and/or Cement and/or Chemical and/or AEC)

* Required work experience in 1 or more industries related above, total experience time must be longer than 2 years, in business/projects/engineering areas

* Required sporadic travel availability

* Required “Passion for Learning”, be a person who likes, not only to apply your stablished knowledge, but also to study and learn new things regularly

* Required empathy/emotional intelligence to work in people from different teams

* Required Advanced English knowledge


Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

What knowledge/skills, education, and experiences are preferred but NOT required to be considered for this position.

* Preferred college degree in technology, engineering or management areas (Marketing, Business, Administration)

* Preferred technical presentation skills (technologies, methods, storytelling, different groups)

* Preferred knowledge in corporate systems such as CRM, PLM, ERP

* Preferred Intermediate/Advanced Spanish

* Preferred leadership skills for orchestration of remote teams
