WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a dedicated Senior Product Owner to take ownership of our Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) solution—an essential component in our product suite supporting commercial airline operations. In this internal-facing role, you’ll act as the central link between internal teams—including Development, Technology, Support, and Operations—to ensure the EFB product evolves efficiently and performs reliably every day.
This role demands strong project management skills, attention to detail, and a deep sense of accountability. You’ll be responsible for daily oversight of the product and its features, working with cross-functional teams to ensure stability, scalability, and alignment with broader business goals.
What You’ll Do
* Daily Ownership: Monitor and assess the EFB product and feature set to ensure functionality, performance, and user satisfaction.
* Project Management: Drive the delivery of new features and improvements by coordinating timelines, stakeholders, and priorities. Ensure all initiatives stay on track and meet defined goals.
* Collaboration & Communication: Act as the first internal point of contact for Support, Tech, Operations, and Integrations teams. Ensure feedback is captured and addressed through the product backlog.
* Backlog Management: Translate roadmap items into actionable user stories and epics, with clearly defined acceptance criteria.
* Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive internal documentation for product flows and features.
* Performance Monitoring: Track product performance post-release, identifying and managing issues such as bugs or usability gaps.
* Requirements Definition: Work with Tech Leads to define both functional and non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, uptime).
* Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate alignment between development capabilities and product objectives, ensuring feasibility and proper scope control.
What You Bring
* Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Functional Analyst (3–5 years)
* Strong project management capabilities; ability to manage timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations
* Deep sense of ownership, accountability, and urgency
* Analytical mindset with a problem-solving attitude
* Excellent communicator, able to tailor messaging for different internal stakeholders (Tech, Management, Support, etc.)
* A structured, detail-oriented work style with the ability to prioritize in dynamic environments
* Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and backlog grooming
* Comfortable working across departments to build trust and deliver results
Bonus Points
* Background in aviation (dispatcher, EFB administrator, flight ops engineer, performance engineer, etc.)
* Familiarity with software development practices and concepts (APIs, Git, XML/JSON)
* Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace, Aviation Management, or similar
