As Data Engineer, your primary goal is to transform raw data into actionable insights and recommendations, adding value to our processes and allowing those processes to scale.
The ideal candidate has strong coding skills in SQL, Python and PySpark, coupled with a keen interest in optimizing processes and supporting colleagues across various disciplines such as e-commerce, logistics, finance, and marketing. Familiarity with Azure and Databricks would be considered a plus.
Key responsibilities:
Data collection and management : We work with a very wide range of applications: from traditional ones (ERP, CRM, inventory‐management tools, banking, ...) to e-commerce specific applications (Amazon SP API, Shopify, WooCommerce, ...).
Data analysis, transformation and testing : Transform data to address the business case and test whether your output meets requirements.
Reporting (visualisation and automation) : Push the transformed data to the right place, whether in our data visualisation tool or integrated back into our systems (ERP, CRM, websites, 3PL, marketplaces, ...).
Documenting : Whether it is a document or an explanation video, documenting your work, assumptions taken and how to use it is crucial to make your solution resilient in the long run.
What we are looking for:
Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, Economics or a related field.
Minimum 1 year experience in a similar function.
Proficient in SQL, PySpark, and Python.
Proficient in version control systems, specifically Git.
Strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
Basic understanding of cloud platforms. Experience with Azure is a plus.
English speaking and good command of French is a plus.
