About Tosca
We are Europe’s leading pooling company for plastic load carriers. Our service is to bring clean plastic returnable assets (pallets/foldable large containers/foldable crates) to our customers who send these assets all over Europe to their end customers. After every trip, these load carriers are being collected by us and brought to one of our European service centers where they are being prepared for a next trip. We manage hundreds of thousands of load carriers between more than 5,000 locations, mainly food related companies. Our Pan-European pooling service offers our B2B customers a sustainable and efficient solution throughout their whole supply chain.
To strengthen our Finance team at our local office in Schelle, Belgium, we are currently recruiting a driven Accounts Receivable Teamlead.
Position Purpose
As an AR Teamlead, you play a vital role in processing invoices and general accounting for Tosca's clients. You manage the company's customer portfolio, recording all accounting transactions for each customer and ensuring complete and regular follow-up of invoices (payment, billing time, etc.) as well as receipts. In addition to guiding, coaching and motivating your team, you also provide them with substantive support.
Responsibilities
* Leading and coaching a small AR-team
* Handling customer inquiries regarding billing issues
* Processing payments from customers
* Following up on customer accounts, ensuring payments are processed correctly
* Following up on overdue invoices
* Sending out invoices and uploading them into customer portals
* Working closely with the sales team and other internal stakeholders, ensuring that issues can be addressed quickly
* Maintaining customer accounts
* Providing monthly statements to customers so they are aware of their outstanding invoices
* Actively contributing to improvement projects and other initiatives to promote efficiency within the Accounts Receivable department e.g. dunning process
* In this role you will report to the Finance Manager
Skills
* You are fluent in English and Dutch. Knowledge of any other language is considered a plus.
* You have an eye for customer relationships as well as objectives.
* You have an analytical mind, able to make correctly calculated decisions
* You excel in time management and you have an eye for detail
* You know your way around MS Office. On-the-job training will be provided for our internal software.
* Your communication skills enable you to efficiently build productive and professional relationships.
* You are an enthusiastic team player and will bring a positive attitude to the entire Tosca team.
Education/Experience
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or a Master's degree with financial orientation or equivalent through professional experience
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role
