Our client, a leading organization in the utility sector, is looking for an Azure Cloud Solution Architect to support their ICT architecture team. The role focuses on translating complex business needs into secure, future-proof cloud solutions while optimizing the enterprise cloud foundation.
* Design and document comprehensive solution architectures for various cloud-based initiatives.
* Translate business and IT requirements into secure, cost-efficient, and manageable cloud environments.
* Contribute to the continuous development and optimization of the cloud foundation, including landing zones and governance.
* Manage and refine aspects of networking, security, identity, and automation within the cloud environment.
* Provide technical guidance and coaching to delivery teams, engineers, and designers.
* Facilitate knowledge sharing and workshops to promote cloud adoption across the organization.
* You have 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect in an enterprise environment.
* You bring 5+ years of specialized experience as an Azure Cloud Solution Architect.
* You possess deep expertise in Azure Hub & Spoke architectures and hybrid cloud-integration with on-premise infrastructure.
* You have advanced knowledge of modeling techniques such as Archimate, TOGAF, UML, or Sparx EA.
* You hold a valid Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
* You're analytical and possess strong communication skills with the ability to justify architectural choices clearly.
* You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level of proficiency.
Nice to Haves
* Experience with deployment automation and Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM, or Terraform.
* Knowledge of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and enterprise-grade networking solutions.
* Familiarity with LeanIX and experience in other cloud environments like Oracle Cloud or SAP Cloud.
* Proven track record within the utilities or energy sector.
* Exposure to M365, ACD, and mobility solutions.
