Cloud infrastructure group at Barco is committed to provide business scalability while consolidating cloud resources and enabling a variety of Barco services to share the same infrastructure without compromising each other’s data. This group utilizes services offered by multiple cloud vendors, AWS Azure, and provides a smooth and consistent experience to all Barco cloud services in terms of infrastructure, observability, security and reliability.
About Role:
As our Devops Engineer you will:
1. work on our development and production cloud infrastructure which is hosting all our cloud applications
2. support all application teams in terms of cloud deployment and bring us to the next level
3. work with colleagues around the world to ensure our customers can fully rely on our cloud services for their critical applications 24/7.
Pre-Requisites:
Experience & Qualifications:
4. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science
5. 5+ years relevant experience in a DevOps
Desired Skills:
6. Atleast 5 years relevant experience in a DevOps multi cloud environment (Git, Jenkins, AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes)
7. Experience on Cloud automation is a must using terraform, Kubernetes CRDs, strong scripting (Bash/Salt/Ansible/Terraform) and Programming (GoLang, Python/Ruby) skills
8. Have strong knowledge of cloud monitoring tools (Prometheus, Cloudwatch, Grafana, New Relic)
9. Experience on the EFK log management solutions
10. Have strong Linux, Networking and System Administration skills
11. Involved in the DevOps Community and Open Source projects (visiting conferences, meetups, giving talks, etc...)
12. Likes to take initiative, work in close collaboration with fellow developers and share your ideas and knowledge
13. Can work independently and fully conversational in English
