Program Overview
The Global Operations Leadership Development (GOLD) Program offers recent university graduates the opportunity to accelerate their career growth through a structured framework that combines challenging work rotations with classroom and online training over a two-and-a-half-year period. The goal is to craft the next generation of leaders across the end-to-end global supply chain functions within Johnson & Johnson. Functional areas include operations, procurement, quality, planning, customer and logistics services, project and process engineering, facilities engineering and quality technical support. The program combines multi-functional work assignments and action learning to build leadership capabilities. Participants will learn to drive their careers in small-company environments while benefiting from the resources of a global healthcare leader with premier training and development and career opportunities across a dynamic global environment.
Program Components
* Combine on-the-job experience with business, leadership & personal development training
* Rotational assignments across multiple sites throughout the EU and Switzerland with four different rotational cohorts across EMEA and eligibility for each cohort:
o Irish domestic cohort
o Swiss domestic cohort
o Belgian domestic cohort
o Cross-Country cohort across European J&J campuses
* Opportunity to expand technical capabilities, leadership skills and business knowledge
* Exposure to a broad range of experiences across the global Supply Chain in Johnson & Johnson's two business segments
* Global networking, in-person residencies, and virtual collaboration with fellow associates
* Building technical skills in areas including project management, supply chain management, quality and regulatory compliance, manufacturing operations, and distribution
* Product and process analysis & improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, design excellence)
Position Responsibilities
During participation, associates will demonstrate working knowledge of how the global supply chain functions connect to support the business and customers worldwide. They will gain experiences across the end-to-end supply chain and:
* Participate in planning, production and distribution of products and services
* Maintain or improve manufacturing operational cost, efficiency, capacity, and compliance
* Collaborate with internal customers and external vendors to drive key business decisions
* Learn about designing or redesigning new products
* Maintain quality and regulatory compliance
* Understand the impact of the business on the customer experience
* Keep the customer at the center of all activities
Qualifications
For consideration in the GOLD Program Class of 2026, you must meet the following requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in a supply chain, business administration, business management, data science or engineering
* High academic achievement as shown by overall university performance
* Interest in exploring multifunctional assignments across a global supply chain
* Professional experience in a relevant area. A minimum of 3 months’ experience is highly preferred but not required, and no more than 2 years of full-time work experience by December 31, 2025, including co-op, internship, and post-graduate employment
* European geographic flexibility throughout the GOLD Program and at graduation
* Authorized to work permanently in the EU or Switzerland, without sponsorship now or in the future
* Eligibility to begin full-time employment with Johnson & Johnson no later than Summer 2026 to align with start of the GOLD program; optional February 2026 start may be offered to those who earned a degree by December 2025
