As the Product Owner, you will lead the strategic growth and development of this client, their data product allowing a clear understanding of consumers’ behaviors across the African continent. You will work at the intersection of business, product and technology, ensuring the company remains innovative, user-centric, and financially sustainable as it expands across the continent. You will be reporting to the Consumer Insights Research Director, based in our Barcelona office (Spain).
Your tasks
* Strategic Product Leadership
* Define and execute the 2–3-year product roadmap.
* Drive user growth and monetization of data
* Product Development - Content
* Serve as the reference for behavioral research and data, including usage & attitude, behavioral analysis, segmentations, categories understanding, consumer sentiments, etc
* Define methodologies, questionnaires and sampling plans to allow data integration in the product. Own data quality, including actions to ensure panel representativity
* Analyze company's data, using statistics to provide high quality interpretation of the findings
* Product Development - Data & Technology
* Define data content needs, analysis needs and reporting infra-structure
* Together with our data analyst, develop new data structure and interface for internal and clients’ direct interactions with the product
* Client Management
* Demonstrate the value of the company through synthesizing information and insights into clear reports, tailoring presentations to the clients’ needs and presenting to clients
* Be the reference trainer to clients and team members and supporting new clients acquisition
* Provide guidance to Research Team, acting as day-to-day coach
Your profile - necessary
* 7+ years in Consumer Market Research, either agency or client side (CMI role)
* Deep experience in segmentation / behavioral analysis
* Exposure to data science / data products
* Fluent in English (mandatory)
* Strong work ethic, highly collaborative, curious and client oriented
