Food Safety Advisor – Brussels (On-site)
We are looking for detail-oriented, proactive Food Safety Advisors to support on-site evaluations across restaurants and hotels in the Madrid region. About the Role
As a Food Safety Advisor, you will conduct scheduled visits to assigned locations, assessing food safety practices, hygiene conditions, and compliance with operational protocols. Your work will help ensure consistent, safe, and high-quality guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out on-site inspections at restaurants and hotels across the region.
* Evaluate and document critical food safety and operational elements, such as:
* Food handling and storage procedures
* Staff hygiene and cleanliness
* Sanitation and facility upkeep
* Compliance with local food safety regulations
* Awareness and execution of safety protocols
* Submit accurate, structured reports within defined timelines.
* Maintain confidentiality and uphold compliance standards.
* Communicate findings in a clear, objective, and professional manner.
Qualifications
* Strong observational skills and the ability to document findings with precision.
* Excellent attention to detail and impartial judgment.
* Experience in hospitality, food service, quality, or health & safety is an advantage.
* Comfortable working independently and managing flexible scheduling.
* Ability to follow structured checklists and technical guidelines.
* Access to reliable transportation and a smartphone/tablet for reporting.
* Willingness to travel locally as required.
Compensation
