The JobAs a Senior Accountant, you are responsible for the financial administration, closing and compliance of one or more entities, ensuring reliable and transparent reporting towards the group.Your responsibilities include:Owning and managing the closing process, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timelinessMaintaining and controlling the general ledger, including accruals, journal entries and reconciliationsEnsuring local compliance, including VAT returns and statutory requirementsAligning local financials with group reporting, ensuring consistency and transparencyPreparing audit documentation and supporting external auditsManaging intercompany reconciliations and ensuring correct application of accounting policiesIdentifying and driving improvements in financial processes and SAP systemsSupporting and guiding finance team members, while acting as a sparring partner to the CFO and Group Controller3. Your ProfileMust-havesBachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or a related field3–5 years of experience in accounting, finance or controllingStrong experience with monthly closings and balance sheet managementSolid understanding of accounting principles and complianceFluency in Dutch, English and FrenchNice-to-havesExperience with SAP S/4HANA (Public Cloud)Exposure to audit processesExperience in a group reporting or consolidation environmentMindset & soft skillsHands-on, pragmatic and solution-orientedStrong analytical skills with attention to detailAbility to take ownership and work independentlyClear communicator and collaborative team playerComfortable in a dynamic and growing organization4.
