We are seeking a passionate (Sr.) Engineer Software to join our dynamic R&D department.
As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing software solutions for our Air Traffic Control and Defense & Security Business Unit.
* Ensure the design, implementation, and testing/verification of the system are within constraints: time, cost, specification & quality targets.
* Ensure the implementation complies with common guidelines and best practices.
* Evaluate and ensure the understanding of specific customer needs (market requirements) and incorporate them into the project (specification, verification). Translate marketing requirements into system design and functional specifications to create realizable assemblies.
* Develop component and complex module specifications from higher-level specifications.
* Specify test cases to verify implementation against specifications.
* Analyze available information to propose solutions, and evaluate test results and plans concerning functional coverage.
* Maintain consistency with overall design, share knowledge, and guide team members regarding engineering practices, processes, tools, and technologies to achieve desired results within the budget.
* Prepare documentation and reports of designs, modules, or sub-assemblies as per the project plan.
* Plan work in Hydra with high reliability, guide team members in planning practices, and ensure milestones are met.
* Review test plans and quality reports.
* Design systems from marketing requirements into functional specifications, partitioning product design into realizable assemblies.
* Decide on design alternatives.
* Manage a technology or platform.
* Report to the R&D Software Manager.
Qualifications:
* Master’s degree in Electronics, ICT, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field.
* Advanced technical skills in hardware design, embedded software, programming languages (C++, etc.), Yokto, Buildroot.
* Analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
* Enthusiastic with the ability to collaborate openly within an international team.
* Fluent in English.
