About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Freelance DevOps Engineer to join a leading medical company based in Brussels. The ideal candidate will support the design, deployment, and maintenance of secure, scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate the delivery of critical medical applications and services.
Contract Details
* Location: Brussels, Belgium (Remote or hybrid options available)
* Contract Type: Freelance / Contractor
* Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension
* Rate: Competitive hourly rate (to be discussed based on experience)

Key Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
* Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
* Collaborate closely with development, QA, and compliance teams to meet stringent regulatory standards.
* Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable operation of medical applications.
* Provide technical guidance on DevOps best practices and tools.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, ideally within the healthcare or medical device sector.
* Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
* Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
* Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
* Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
* Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements relevant to medical software (GDPR, HIPAA a plus).
* Excellent communication skills in English; French or Dutch is a plus.
