Subject to contract award, Serco Defence is expanding operations, with future opportunities emerging to manage and maintain key military training facilities throughout Belgium.
We are currently researching solutions that are designed to improve operational readiness by delivering high-quality services across advanced training installations, focused on the following areas;
4. Management & Operations: Overseeing execution, compliance, and service quality.
5. Technical & Engineering: Maintaining and optimizing training equipment.
6. Simulation & Training: Supporting personnel in using advanced technologies.
7. IT & Logistics: Managing infrastructure, cybersecurity, planning, and support.

Key Responsibilities
13. Provide first-line technical support for training systems, simulation platforms, and related hardware/software components.
14. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by users, escalating when necessary to specialized teams.
15. Assist with system setup, updates, maintenance, and testing to ensure operational readiness.
16. Collaborate with teams to support seamless integration of technology in daily activities.
17. Help implement upgrades, patches, and configuration changes under supervision or guidance.
Skills
18. Experience in a technical support, IT helpdesk, or system operations role, preferably in a defense, training, or structured technical environment.
19. Good understanding of IT systems, networking basics, and hardware/software troubleshooting.
20. Hands-on mentality with the ability to manage equipment, cables, and system components on-site.
21. Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
22. Good communication skills, able to support end users in both Dutch, French and English.
23. Comfortable working in structured, regulated environments with adherence to safety and operational procedures.
24. Willingness to learn and grow into more advanced technical or system-specific expertise.
