Job Description:
As IT Infrastructure & Cloud Lead Expert you will be part of the International Markets Technology Office which leads the IT Strategy vision, ensuring a proper management of IT Architecture and Technology activities.
As IT Infrastructure & Cloud Lead Expert for our International Markets, you will perform a pivotal role to:
* Define, design and govern the Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture for AXA.
* Support local entities to align their local Cloud & Infrastructure Architecture, modernize their IT landscape and adopt new technologies, while meeting Group standards and principles.
* Define, design and govern the Architecture ecosystem for AXA.
Great communication skills will be essential as you will be required to effectively communicate complex architecture concepts, architectural designs, and implementation strategies to diverse stakeholders across multiple regions.
The Infrastructure & Cloud Lead Expert needs to have a very good understanding of:
* Insurance Business or Financial Services value chain and Tech environments / solutions.
* Large knowledge on technology evolution and modernization.
* Capacity to understand Insurance economics to define the appropriate Cloud & Infrastructure Strategy trajectory aligned with Business and IT strategy
Responsibilities
* Define Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture framework for International Markets. Aligned with the Business and IT strategy, the Infrastructure & Cloud Lead Expert will support the definition of the Target Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture at the beginning of each Strategic Planning period and review main principles each year to ensure proper alignment
* Lead and support the definition of the Target Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture for our entities at International Markets prioritizing the value creation for the business and ensuring the alignment with AXA Cloud Binding principles and IT Standards; and taking into consideration the technology, financial and organizational aspects to ensure its success
* Monitor and support the execution of the initiatives defined in the cloud roadmaps making an adequate stakeholder management to ensure the teams across the entities, AXA Group and AXA GO work towards the same objectives
* He/she will ensure alignment with IT Strategy with a strong focus on development of the Cloud & Infrastructure functions to address (Technology processes definition, IT Operating Model definition and key IT Operational KPI).
* Identification of key local transformation initiatives impacting the Infrastructure landscape (support the local entity to define priorities, sequence of modernization, … ).
* Contribute actively to the International Markets Technology governance, especially on Cloud & Infrastructure, by supporting local entities under his responsibility to define the appropriate governance for large tech transformation initiatives, in line with Group processes and local governance on key projects having a large impact on infrastructure evolution.
* Support local entities to define their strategy and ensure that relevant financial estimations are made and integrated in the Financial Plan of the local entity to ensure the maintenance of the Information Landscape.
Job Requirements
Education
* A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or related quantitative field
* IT certifications (cloud CSPs, cloud technologies, technical, processes or framework) will be highly valuated
* Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to effectively collaborate and communicate with international leadership teams and stakeholders.
Experience
* Strong experience in IT Strategy, cloud, infrastructure, and technical architectures
* Experience on technical architecture designs for very large projects/environments with good understanding of the technical impacts across the IT landscape
* Understanding and practice in continuous architecture, DevOpsSec operating model, Cloud Services and migration to Cloud programs
* Deep Cloud Platform knowledge in Azure or AWS, and deep understanding in cloud delivering model and containers technologies (Terraform, VMWare stack, Red HatOpenshift,…)
* Strong change management and stakeholder management skills with practical experience of transformation in an international environment
* Financials (principles, business cases, budgeting, business-planning, savings)
* Strives for excellence with deliverables of high quality and ability to work in sometimes tight planning
* Demonstrates being a strong team member with a collaborative mind-set.
* IT knowledge and understanding of related transformation disciplines (e.g. strategic planning, portfolio management, change management etc).
* Knowledge of related architecture or operational disciplines (e.g. enterprise architecture, data architecture, product or process design).
Skills
* Expert knowledge in Cloud & Infrastructure Architecture and IT strategy definition
* Ability to execute evolution of the Cloud & Infrastructure Architecture through strategic thinking, in addition to possessing strong business, technical, and financial acumen.
* Expertise in the Technical areas (related to technologies (eg: API or Network, Workplace, Security)
* Good understanding of emerging model or platform design needed to fit the new or emerging business models, operating models, and modern technologies such as platform business, API business, cloud architecture, master data management, distributed ledgers, artificial intelligence, and machine learning (or any new emerging technologies).
* Strong objectives oriented working philosophy
