Within the Research & Insights cluster of the Data Acceleration Tribe, we bring insights that help business leaders to steer their business commercially. We are now hiring a leader for the team of five people who provide insights and reporting for Telenet Business, the B2B arm of Telenet Group. Telenet Business provides telecom and ICT services to medium and large enterprises across Belgium.
Your Key Roles & Responsibilities as a B2B Insights Manager:
1. You co-develop (with the Director Research & Insights) the strategy and plans for providing Telenet Business stakeholders with the best possible commercial insights and reporting to run the business
2. You draft which outputs (slides, charts, Qlik dashboards, reports) will be needed to provide those insights and which data need to be unlocked to support these outputs.
3. You own, run and improve the data products that serve B2B commercial insights proactively to the business as well as a set of relevant business dashboards and you set up a pipeline of new data products
4. You own, run and improve the process to collect ad-hoc insights and reporting requests from the business. You work closely with business leaders in Telenet Business to identify and prioritize these requests, managing expectations with all involved stakeholders
5. You own and prioritize the resulting backlog of work for the team
6. You provide direction to the team by bringing clarity on what the team needs to deliver and why this must happen
7. You guide the team to increase quality of output, working together with the Insights & Reporting Guild
8. As a member of the Research & Insights cluster leadership and the Data Tribe leadership, you take up leadership tasks as required, such as owning change initiatives for the Cluster or Tribe
9. You work closely with Talent Lead on bringing out the best out of the team as a whole and its individual members

15. You have strong business and leadership skills A sharp understanding of how data can be used to drive the business. Strong storyteller skills and the ability to deliver a message with impact. Excellent negotiating and influencing skills to deal with conflicting priorities and ambiguity.
16. You understand commercial drivers and processes in a B2B environment
17. You are proficient in working with structured data in a professional environment You have a good understanding of SQL and can jump in to help the team if needed You can translate insights & reporting needs into requirements for structured data sets and feed these to our data engineers
18. You are curious and love to find out ‘why’ You proactively ask questions about our data You are insatiably curious to find out what drives our business
19. You have a can-do mentality but are also able to say ‘no’. You show resilience, an agile mindset and experience with dealing with change in an organization. You can say ‘no’ graciously and effectively. In other words: you can prioritize and you can explain why you made choices to your stakeholders
20. You master the ‘management consulting toolkit’. Logical reasoning to understand the business problem and build a hypothesis tree Ability to draft a clear storyline and populate it with the right facts and insights Strong communication skills (stakeholder management, written communication and presentation skills)
21. You speak English fluently. Speaking Dutch or French is a plus but not a requirement.

23. Expertise in telecom
24. Experience with line management is a plus, but not a requirement. The role does not include line management of the team members, which is provided by the Talent Lead. We do expect you to have experience with leading people (e.g. in a project setting) in some way
25. Experience in consultancy is a plus, but not a requirement.
