For an international pharmaceutical company in Antwerp, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Scientist with a background in analytical chemistry or biomedical sciences.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform and support daily laboratory operations within analytical chemistry
* Prepare samples and chemical compounds for analytical processes
* Review scientific documentation and methods, including method transfer
* Conduct initial research, investigations, and literature reviews
* Contribute to workflow improvements in the lab environment
* Ensure data accuracy, documentation, and compliance with standards
* Collaborate proactively and communicate effectively with the team
Requirements
* Education: PhD in Chemistry or Biomedical Sciences, or a Master’s degree with relevant industry and pharmaceutical experience
* Experience: Proven experience in analytical chemistry and lab work; mature and able to handle responsibility for data integrity
* Skills: Detail-oriented, analytical, accurate, hands-on, proactive, communicative team player
* Languages: Fluent in spoken and written English; Dutch is a plus
