The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle and delivering high‑quality hires across all departments. This role focuses on sourcing, screening, interviewing, employer branding, candidate experience, and onboarding coordination. The Talent Acquisition Specialist works closely with the HR team and hiring managers to ensure hiring needs align with company growth objectives. Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Sourcing Manage the full recruitment lifecycle (job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer management, contract process). Source candidates through job boards, social media, ATS databases, referrals, networking, and direct search. Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles. Identify short‑term and long‑term staffing needs across departments. Employer Branding Support employer branding initiatives to strengthen Avesta’s presence on social platforms and job markets. Create engaging job postings and recruitment content. Represent the company at career fairs, school partnerships, recruitment events, and online webinars. Candidate Experience Ensure a positive, transparent, and timely candidate experience at every stage of the recruitment process. Communicate effectively with candidates regarding status, next steps, and feedback. Conduct structured interviews to evaluate technical expertise, soft skills, and cultural alignment. Recruitment Metrics & Process Optimization Track and report recruitment KPIs: time‑to‑hire, source effectiveness, conversion rates, candidate quality. Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, tools, and sourcing strategies. Ensure consistent use of the ATS for tracking, documentation, and compliance. Onboarding & HR Support Coordinate onboarding activities with the HR team to ensure successful integration of new hires. Assist with HR administrative tasks when needed, including documentation, contract preparation, and employee records. Support continuous improvement of HR processes and tools. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience. At least 3 years of experience in full‑cycle recruitment, ideally in a fast‑paced or growth‑driven environment. Strong knowledge of sourcing tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and recruitment best practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Nederlands; French is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
