We are looking for a Data Analyst to support the NATO Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) within the Enterprise Asset, Configuration, Patching & Vulnerability (E-ACPV) Project.
Responsibilities:
* Analyse data sources related to assets, configurations & cybersecurity vulnerabilities
* Validate and assure quality of onboarded data sources
* Lead technical discussions on data sources, correlation, and SOPs with stakeholders
* Prepare and present technical findings & recommendations (reports, dashboards, presentations)
* Support data source discovery, onboarding & lifecycle management within ACPV
* Conduct reviews on ACPV service compliance & vulnerability risk exposure
* Attend stakeholder briefings and provide expert technical input
* Document ACPV processes and maintain accurate, secure records in NATO systems
* Participate in Agile sprint planning/execution/reviews and operational meetings on-site
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering / IT — MSc preferred
* Valid security clearance at minimum NATO SECRET level (MANDATORY)
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in cyber security environments
* Experience working with structured & unstructured data; strong analytical capabilities
* Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Grafana)
* Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, threat analysis & secure data handling
* Knowledge of multi-vendor switching, routing and security technology with proven technical experience with in depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP stack and technology behind of each element in the stack), network and security technologies.
* Data sensitivity awareness & handling of classified or mission-critical information
* Strong communication skills in English (spoken & written)
* Ability to work independently in an Agile environment and collaborate within international teams
Preferred:
* Experience with NATO accreditation processes & documentation requirements
* Experience in NATO or multinational defense environments for at least 1 year
