Location - Brussels, Belgium (1 day per week onsite)

Rate - €800 per day (Depending on relevant experience)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Data Analyst to support financial and operational data analysis within a structured business environment. This role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, generating insights, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze financial and operational data (e.g., General Ledger, vendor, labour, and cost data)
* Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency
* Produce reports and dashboards to support business decision-making
* Conduct regular data quality checks and resolve discrepancies
* Collaborate with finance, IT, and business stakeholders
* Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with accurate data insights
* Document reporting processes and methodologies
* Identify opportunities for improving reporting and data processes
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
* Strong SQL and advanced Excel skills
* Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
* Familiarity with financial data and reporting structures
* Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
* Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
* Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity
