What you will be doing
You will work in one of our international projects and be part of one of our squads with team members from Spain, Belgium, and the Netherlands. You will communicate in English and memes, and use agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
You will collaborate closely with the client and development teams to gather, analyze, and refine business requirements, transforming them into clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
You will contribute to improving processes and best practices within the team, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical delivery. You’ll also validate deliverables through continuous feedback cycles, testing, and data-driven insights to make sure the implemented features meet business expectations.
Where you will be doing it:
Our offices are in Edificio Europa, Avenida de Aragon in the heart of Valencia’s city centre. In our 12th floor with our stunning views of all the city of Valencia, we can even see the sea from a window on the same floor. In the area, there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, shops, gyms and green areas (Valencia is very cycle-friendly). You can use super-efficient public transport; the metro is right across the street from our building.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Technical Product Owner to join our Market Access IT Product Line — a dynamic team driving digital transformation through internally developed tools and data-driven applications.
You’ll act as a bridge between business and technology, leading the evolution of web-based applications, data visualization platforms, and secure data-sharing solutions. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical skills, technical understanding, and hands-on ownership.
What We’re Looking For
* Fluent in English (written and spoken, C1 level or higher).
* Drive business analysis and requirements definition for both new and existing internal web applications.
* Manage development progress, release coordination, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
* Contribute to the expansion and onboarding of applications within our statistics visualization platform (Posit Connect).
* Support business teams in setting up and maintaining secure file-sharing and data transfer solutions for large and sensitive datasets.
* Collaborate closely with developers, business stakeholders, and IT specialists to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
* Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and actionable product backlog items.
* Skills & Experience
* Strong ICT background, with solid understanding of web application architectures, APIs, and data flows.
* Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, backlog management, and release coordination.
* Comfortable working across technical and functional domains, independently driving deliverables.
* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Good understanding of web and system architectures (frontend, backend, databases, cloud).
* Knowledge of API design and integrations (REST, GraphQL, JSON).
* Ability to analyze and map data flows across multiple systems.
* Basic SQL and data validation skills.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and environment management tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
* Hands-on experience with Agile and DevOps tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
* Understanding of UX principles and digital product lifecycles.
* Experience using API testing and documentation tools (Postman, Swagger).
* Awareness of data privacy, security, and compliance standards (GDPR, access control).
* Excellent communication skills to translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
Nice to Have
* Familiarity with SQL and data querying.
* Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Understanding of containerization concepts (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., pharma, finance).
