Change Manager –S4/HANA Implementation
A major pharmaceutical organization is undergoing a large-scale digital transformation with the implementation of SAP S/4HANA, focused on optimizing and harmonizing their Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes across multiple business units. This transformation affects core logistics functions, warehousing, procurement, manufacturing integration, and order-to-cash flows.
The Change Manager will play a critical role in driving user adoption, minimizing business disruption, and ensuring that the organizational impact of the transition is managed smoothly and effectively. The role sits at the intersection of business, IT, and operations, requiring both a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Develop and execute the Change Management Strategy and roadmap aligned with S/4HANA implementation milestones.
* Perform impact assessments across supply chain functions, identifying change risks and stakeholder implications.
* Design and implement targeted communication plans, training programs, and stakeholder engagement activities.
* Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Process Owners, SAP Functional Consultants, and the Training team to ensure alignment.
* Act as the key liaison between IT and business units, translating technical impacts into business language.
* Establish feedback loops and monitor adoption KPIs, reporting regularly to the program leadership team.
* Support end-users during UAT, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization phases.
* Manage resistance through active listening, workshops, and mitigation strategies tailored to impacted user groups.
* Ensure documentation and materials (FAQs, process flows, training guides) are relevant and accessible.
Requirements for the Candidate
Experience:
* 5+ years of experience in Change Management within large-scale IT transformation programs.
* At least 2 full-cycle SAP OR ERP implementations, ideally S/4HANA, with exposure to Supply Chain, Procurement, or Manufacturing processes being a bonus.
* Experience working in matrixed organizations and managing global stakeholder groups.
Technology Knowledges:
* Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA modules, especially MM, PP, WM, EWM, IBP, and integration points with other systems.
* Familiarity with ITIL, GxP compliance, and validation requirements is advantageous.
* Tools: Microsoft 365, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Change Management platforms (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, SuccessFactors LMS, or equivalent).
Bonuses:
* Certifications in Change Management (Prosci, ACMP, etc.)
* Knowledge of Agile methodologies or SAFe frameworks.
* Proven track record working in regulated environments, ideally within Life Sciences or Pharmaceuticals.
