Location
Antwerp, Belgium – Permanent contract (38 hours/week).
An initial training period will take place at the group’s headquarters in Rousset, France. Occasional travel to the headquarters is to be expected.
Role Summary
Reporting to both the Site Director and the Group Accounting Manager, the Financial Controller will ensure the financial reliability of the subsidiary and support performance monitoring. The position involves accounting supervision, financial reporting, and operational support, within a dynamic and international logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial and tax compliance
* Ensure adherence to internal accounting processes: customer and supplier invoicing, inventory tracking, capital expenditures, etc.
* Act as the interface between local teams and the central accounting department
* Ensure timely compliance with local tax and social security obligations
Reporting and analysis
* Participate in quarterly, half-year, and annual financial closings
* Produce financial reports and KPIs for the site and the group
* Perform controlling analyses and propose corrective or improvement actions
Operational support
* Support the deployment of a new ERP system and activity-specific tools
* Contribute to the site relocation project
* Monitor overheads, expense reports, and local investment plans
* Assist the Site Director in administrative, accounting, and financial tasks
* Maintain relationships with local banking partners
Work Environment
The role requires coordination with various stakeholders:
* Internally: local teams and the group’s accounting and management departments
* Externally: banks and the local accounting firm

Profile
Technical skills
* Solid knowledge of accounting and local tax regulations
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

* Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and reliability
* Ability to interact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
* Autonomy, initiative, and good communication skills
Languages
* Fluency in Dutch, French, and English is mandatory
Education and experience
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management Control
* Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
Compensation
Annual salary based on 13.92 months
