Competition & Antitrust Associate – 1–5 PQE
An elite international law firm has released a newly created Merger Control Associate role to a select group of recruiters. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing, close-knit competition practice handling some of the most sophisticated merger control work in the market.
The team is led by a highly regarded partner and supported by a special counsel and two experienced associates. The group is known for its exceptional pedigree, impressive deal flow and supportive culture. This is not a hierarchical or competitive environment; the firm prioritises collaboration, humility and a strong work ethic. Associates benefit from real partner access, early responsibility and involvement in strategically important matters from day one.
The work is heavily focused on complex, cross-border merger control mandates at the very top end of the market. The firm regularly acts on transactions that attract global regulatory scrutiny, giving associates exposure to high-profile, technically challenging cases. Strong professional development support is offered through the firm’s US-based training platform, with optional programmes available to help associates broaden their skills.
The team also places emphasis on well-rounded development, including the opportunity to contribute 14 hours of CSR work that counts towards annual hours.
