In order to bring the pace of these evolutions to the next level, we are looking for a Product Roadmap Manager. This function will report to our Chief Operating Officer. Main responsibilities Our Product team is composed of product managers tasked with the design, ideation and delivery (in collaboration with our technical providers) of features, and a Product Roadmap Manager, whose responsibilities are coordinating the product roadmap and ensuring a smooth delivery of a high-quality product to the market. As a Product Roadmap Manager, you are ‘at the center’ of the evolution of our products, and you have a holistic view of the full portfolio of evolution. Your responsibilities will be the following: Coordination and enablement of the Product Roadmap In collaboration with the product managers/owners, you create and maintain an overview of the development pipeline for our products and assets (Bancontact Pay app, Bancontact Pro services including the merchant portal, the merchant app and the payment platform, our merchant management system,) You map items in the pipeline overview (online visual management) You ensure dynamic management of such pipeline You detect pocket of opportunities to maximise delivery pipeline and make sure stakeholders and activities are aligned to exploit those opportunities You visualize and optimize the dependencies across features and providers You make explicit the hurdles and mitigating actions You make sure the overview of the pipeline is always up to date You communicate clearly and openly the status of the pipeline to the internal (and external stakeholders), and make sure to channel their feedback and needs into the product delivery cycle You follow up on budget consumption vs budget envelopes linked to the roadmap and support the COO in overall budget management You manage the various stakeholders of the development pipeline You capture changes since their inception, via our change management process You share the roadmap status and communicate proactively about updates You have a clear understanding of the status of the tracks, the dependencies and the hurdles You help your colleagues (product managers) to manage their product features, the dependencies and hurdles You communicate with partners, together with the tasked product manager of Bancontact Company You ensure one single voice towards internal/external stakeholders You help coordinate parties when release deadlines need to be met You integrate market needs and internal stakeholders planning in the building of the pipeline You support the development of the product strategy layer for the yearly prioritization exercise, and all its recurrent updates Coordination of the Way of Working with all internal/external stakeholders You assess the quality of collaboration with our providers, in terms of delivery pipeline Together with the COO, you handle the relationship management and contractual aspects linked to these relationships You propose processes and Way of Working improvements to improve the delivery metrics, when needed; to do so you may initiate collaboration initiatives such as workshops, post-mortem sessions, retrospectives, with the relevant internal/external participants Ensuring feedback loop between core quality indicators and product improvements Together with Operations and Customer Care teams, you keep an overview of important quality issues (if any) across our assets When needed, you support these teams in streamlining the ‘market feedback’ into product fixes and developments You keep a view on the main metrics linked to our Core assets, you link these to the roadmap initiatives, and contextualise them accordingly during roadmap building and alignment phases. Skills and mindset Master's degree or equivalent proven experience 4 years in a product manager or product owner role, preferably for mobile (payment) Apps or mobile services to merchants Extensive experience with Agile Way of Working is a must Experience with knowledge management/planning tools is a must Experience with multi-partner/providers activities is a must Visual management – you know how to present information in a visual way and to use visual tools to steer progress and actions Proactive management of issues – you look ahead and plan today for actions that need to take place tomorrow to reach the needed result. You find the tactical opportunities for acceleration and exploit them when possible Proactive communication – you communicate openly, activate your stakeholders, and are not afraid to discuss all types of matters. You have excellent communication skills, both oral and written Relationship building – you create partnerships with your internal stakeholders as well as with third parties to reach joint objectives Synthesis skills – you coordinate a big perimeter of activities and you can have input converge into a single output.
