In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Perform system analysis and troubleshooting on Emerson's products for end users, field service teams, and project execution staff.
* Respond promptly to customer service requests, including being available for urgent support when required.
* Minimize repair time by applying effective diagnostic methods and executing preventive maintenance as agreed or requested.
* Conduct installations, start-ups, and provide customer guidance on product operation and optimal use.
* Supply accurate and timely information to support administrative follow-up and order processing.
* Collaborate effectively with internal and international teams to maintain professional customer relationships.
* Continuously develop and maintain knowledge of Emerson's systems, equipment, and applications.
* Perform additional duties as required to support overall service operations.
Who You Are:
We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills who can confidently interact with customers and colleagues in a fast‑paced technical environment. The ideal Junior Service Engineer thrives both as part of a team and when working independently, taking ownership of tasks and delivering high‑quality results. For This Role, You Will Need:
* Graduate or Engineering degree with technical direction or equivalent through experience.
* Prepared to undergo technical and commercial trainings and to work from our office or on customer site.
* Willingness to react on emergency calls.
* Fluent in Dutch, French and English language.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
* Ability to work within a complex matrix organization and collaborate across business units
* Experience within Automation / Process / Instrumentation Industry / Distributed Control Sytsems and ideally Emerson's signature DCS system - DeltaV
