We are seeking a Data Governance Privacy Expert to provide advisory, operational, and analytical support in a complex and regulated environment.br/ br/ h2Your dual focus will be on /h2 br/ Data privacy ethics responsibilities:br/ ul li Conduct risk assessments for data privacy in the context of new projects, outsourcing, and existing systems (e.g., Dpias).br/ /li li Draft structured risk reports aligned with internal governance standards and external regulatory expectations.br/ /li li Recommend and validate appropriate mitigation strategies.br/ /li li Support the organization's response to data subject rights requests.br/ /li li Assist in the handling and investigation of personal data breaches.br/ /li li Provide training, awareness, and communication support on data privacy topics.br/ /li /ul br/ h2Data governance responsibilities /h2 ul li Develop and implement data governance practices to ensure high-quality, secure, and compliant data management.br/ /li li Support data governance needs across departments, including quality assurance, data modeling, and regulatory reporting.br/ /li li Act as a point of contact and escalation for governance and compliance-related issues.br/ /li li Promote cross-functional collaboration with business, compliance, legal, and technical stakeholders.br/ /li li Deliver process documentation, templates, and training materials to standardize governance practices.br/ /li /ul AI regulation alignment:br/ ul li Provide input and expertise on the emerging AI regulatory framework in relation to data privacy and governance.br/ /li li Ensure ethical and compliant data practices in the development and deployment of AI systems.br/ /li /ul br/ h2Required profile /h2 ul liLanguage skills: ul liEnglish: Fluent (spoken and written) /li liDutch and/or French: Fluent or native-level (must be able to write documentation and lead discussions) /li /ul /li liEducation certification: ul liMaster's degree in Law, Engineering, or a related field. /li liCertification as a Data Protection Officer (DPO) is a strong asset. /li /ul /li /ul Experience knowledgebr/ ul liMust-have: ul li3-5 years of experience in data governance, privacy, compliance, or risk management. /li liStrong knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles. /li liProven experience conducting risk assessments and producing clear analytical reports. /li liHigh proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. /li liStrong written and verbal communication skills. /li /ul /li liNice-to-have: ul liFamiliarity with tools such as Archer GRC, Rally (Agile), ARIS, and SharePoint. /li liExperience in financial services or a highly regulated industry. /li liKnowledge of enterprise data modeling and regulatory data reporting practices. /li liPrior experience in cross-functional, multicultural environments. /li /ul /li liSoft skills: ul liStrong interpersonal and influencing skills: able to navigate complex stakeholder environments. /li liPragmatic and action-oriented mindset with attention to detail. /li liAutonomous and proactive: able to take ownership of workstreams. /li liTeam-oriented, collaborative approach. /li liComfortable dealing with sensitive issues and maintaining confidentiality. /li /ul /li /ul
