Key responsibilities of the Technical Procurement & Logistics Officer:

Monitor and manage spare parts and maintenance stock levels across the site
*
Anticipate supply needs, especially during urgent technical incidents
*
Request, analyse, and negotiate supplier quotes for components and services
*
Place and follow up on purchase orders and delivery time lines
*
Maintain accurate inventory records maintenance system
*
Perform stock takes and analyse consumption trends
*
Propose improvements for purchasing and inventory processes, including innovation via alternative parts or technologies
*
Ensure operations align with internal quality and environmental standards
Ideal Technical Procurement & Logistics Officer candidate:
*
Technical background, preferably with knowledge of electricity/electronics
*
At least 2 years in a similar purchasing, technical coordination, or warehouse/inventory role
*
Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organised
*
Negotiation skills and commercial insight to deal with suppliers
*
Self-starter who works accurately and proactively
*
Comfortable in a bilingual (FR/NL) and English-speaking environment
*
Familiarity with CMMS and quality procedures is a strong plus
