For one of our clients, a prestigious and well-established player in the real estate sector, we are currently looking for a Head of Controlling to join their team in Brussels.
This is a diverse and high-impact role, reporting directly to the CFO and managing a small team.
Your Responsibilities as Head of Controlling
* Develop budgets and forecasts in close collaboration with the CFO for presentation to Executive Committees and the Board.
* Act as a key advisor to senior management on financial performance, risks, and strategic decisions.
* Oversee the integrity of financial data and ensure compliance with internal policies.
* Design and monitor internal control systems to safeguard the company’s assets.
* Optimize financial workflows and support data-driven decision-making across departments.
* Supervise quarterly closings and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
* Drive implementation of new tools and processes (e.g., cash forecasting).
* Serve as a bridge between finance and operational teams, offering insights and guidance.
* Lead a team of 3 direct reports.
Your Profile
* Proven experience in a similar Controlling or Senior Finance role.
* Experience in the real estate sector is a strong advantage.
* French, Dutch is an asset
