As a Logistics Specialist, you play a central role in keeping our logistics operations running smoothly. You act as a key connector between Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Warehouse Operations, and ensure that orders flow seamlessly from start to finish. From coordinating transport to safeguarding accurate compliant documentation for your assigned regions, your work directly impacts both customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
Main responsibilities
1. Coordinate end‑to‑end logistics activities, including planning, booking, and monitoring transportation orders, while proactively resolving operational issues.
2. Manage order processing for raw materials (export), ensuring accuracy of product specifications, pricing, Incoterms, and other financial requirements, in close collaboration with Finance.
3. Organize and oversee transport execution, ensuring timely collection, delivery, and cost‑effective use of approved carrier contracts.
4. Prepare and manage all required export documentation in close collaboration with customs authorities, chambers of commerce, the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (FAVV), and transport partners.
5. Build strong partnerships with carriers by monitoring performance and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Act as a key logistics interface for Purchasing (imports) and Planning (exports and intercompany flows), ensuring clear communication and alignment.
7. Serve as a reliable backup for export logistics colleagues to ensure continuity of operations.

12. Fluent in English and Dutch required, additional languages are a plus.
13. Confidence working with MS Office tools and ERP systems.

15. A strong sense of ownership combined with attention to detail to ensure accurate export documentation.
