Its Belgian subsidiary, POTIEZ-DEMAN (localised in Asse), joined HEXVIA Group in 2019. For over 35 years, POTIEZ-DEMAN has specialised in removals for private individuals and companies, furniture storage, furniture assembly, lift services and transport. Its services are available throughout BeLux and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
* As a Managing Director BeLux you are end responsible for profit and loss management.You motivate and lead your team and inspire all employees to ensure an effective and efficient organisation, carried by the entire team.
* Together with your team, you initiate and implement key initiatives needed to confirm Potiez-Deman as a preferred removal provider and first choice among institutions, B2B companies, municipalities and in the B2C market.
* Your ambition is to double the business in Belgium and Luxemburg.You build a strong team with a professional attitude and behaviour focusing on customer satisfaction, as motivating and inspiring workplace for all employees.
* You maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.You are responsible for developing and executing business strategies to achieve revenue targets and marketshare growth.
* You are responsible for managing budgets and resources.
* You proactively identify risks and develop strategies to manage and minimize them to ensure continuity of business operations.
* You work closely together with the French mother company to identify and execute synergies in sourcing, digitalization, sustainability and maybe other areas for the future.
* You play a role in attracting, developing and retaining talent within your team and ensure professional growth and development of employees.
* You report to the HEXVIA Group CEO
Profile
* You have a master’s degree in commercial or business engineering.
* You have at least 15 years of proven work experience as a Business Unit Manager, Regional Manager and/or Commercial Manager and in managing customer-centric organizations. If you are familiar with the relocation, transport, property management, retail, hospitality business, the customer channels in which our client operates and/or the contracting market, you will undoubtedly have an edge.
* You held leadership roles with P/L accountability, ideally within an international services structure.
* You feel comfortable in leading and developing a small SME.
* You apply an agile and entrepreneurial management style, able to monitor margins continuously.
* You are flexible, daring to take risks and very result-oriented in your work.You have strong social and communication skills.
* Your enthusiasm radiates throughout the organization, and you are an excellent motivator, communicator and people manager.
* You have a strong personality with an accessible and empathetic leadership style.
* You are an excellent networker and very experienced in stakeholder management.
* You communicate very well in Dutch and French (both orally and in writing) and can express yourself well in English.
