The flexo printing plate systems application team is responsible for the technical introduction of solutions in the market. For this department, we are looking for an Application Manager.
Job content
* You are responsible for the validation of new flexo prepress systems: consumables and hardware, more specifically flexo printing plates and flexo CTP systems.
* You are responsible for the organization and follow-up of projects.
* You organize and supervise field tests at end customers, as part of the validation process.
* You investigate system complaints and cooperate in finding solutions for these complaints.
* You provide technical support to local sales and service organizations.
* You support marketing by comparing your own portfolio with that of competitors through extensive benchmark research.
* You organize and give technical product training to an international Service team.
* You report technical research results clearly in a report.
* You develop procedures that are used in production, QC, training and with customers.
* You translate (changing) industry needs/trends into specifications for new product developments.
Job requirements
* You hold a Master in a scientific direction or a Bachelors degree in a graphical direction. Knowledge of the flexo pre-press field is an advantage, but recent graduates are also welcome!
* You can express yourself very fluently in English (fluency in Dutch is a plus).
* You are an organizational talent in drawing up and following up projects and respecting project planning.
* You have strong analytical skills and come to clear conclusions quickly.
* You can communicate your research results efficiently in reports and presentations.
* You are customer-oriented.
* You are hands‑on.
* You have social and communication skills in an international context.
* You are flexible and willing to travel internationally.
