Senior Business Controller – Ghent RegionWe are currently seeking a highly driven and strategic Senior Business Controller to join a fast-paced, technology-driven organization in the Ghent region .
In this role, you will act as a key financial partner to senior leadership, taking ownership of business performance, driving financial planning processes, and delivering insights that directly influence strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cyclesOwn and further develop management reporting and KPI dashboardsAnalyze business performance across revenue streams, margins, and cost structuresProvide strategic insights and challenge business decisions with data-driven analysisDrive profitability, scenario modeling, and investment analysisMonitor performance, identify risks and opportunities, and propose corrective actionsSupport and coach junior controllers where applicableLead initiatives around process optimization, automation, and digitalization (Power BI, ERP, etc.)Act as a trusted finance business partner to senior stakeholders
Profile Requirements:~ Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration~5–8+ years of experience in controlling, FP&A, or financial analysis~ Strong analytical and strategic mindset~ Advanced Excel skills and strong experience with Power BI or similar BI tools~ Solid experience with ERP systems~ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills~ Proven ability to influence decision-making at management level~ Proactive, hands-on, and results-oriented
