Job Description
Position Overview
We are looking for a highly autonomous and technically proficient
CAD/BIM Engineer
with experience in the pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and validating technical drawings throughout the project lifecycle—from initial design to as-built documentation. You will play a key role in supporting project managers, collaborating with international partners, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

* Create and update technical drawings for engineering projects across all phases: conceptual design, detailed design, and as-built documentation.
* Manage CAD projects independently, ensuring timely delivery, version control, and alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
* Integrate and validate drawings received from external partners, contractors, or consultants, providing feedback and ensuring consistency with project standards.
* Support partners on CAD-related issues, including software usage, file formats, layering, and compliance with internal standards.
* Contribute to the conception and realization of buildings, facilities, and process equipment layouts, particularly in sensitive areas such as clean rooms and production zones.
* Conduct on-site measurements to verify existing conditions and support accurate modeling and design adjustments.
* Train and mentor new team members on CAD standards, workflows, software tools (MicroStation, AutoCAD, OpenBuilding), and project-specific methodologies.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, process, civil) to ensure seamless integration of designs.
* Use ProjectWise and other collaboration platforms for document management, version control, and secure sharing of project data.

Profile Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications

* 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in CAD/BIM engineering, preferably in industrial or pharmaceutical projects.
* Proven technical autonomy in handling complex design tasks and managing multiple deliverables.
* Solid experience in the pharmaceutical sector, including familiarity with:

* Cleanroom design and classification (ISO 14644)

* Production zone layouts
* Regulatory compliance (GMP, FDA, etc.)

* Fluent in French (oral and written) – mandatory for client and internal communication.

* Strong English proficiency – essential for meetings, technical documentation, and collaboration with international teams.
* Mastery of CAD software, including:

* MicroStation (Bentley Suite)

* OpenBuilding Designer
* ProjectWise
* AutoCAD

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – ability to work effectively across teams and levels.

* Highly organized, proactive, and self-driven – capable of managing time and priorities independently.


Nice-to-Have Skills

* Experience with Revit or other BIM software (e.g., Navisworks, Dynamo).
* Previous experience in training or mentoring colleagues.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools.
* Demonstrated flexibility, initiative, and problem-solving mindset.
