Do what you say and say what you do The Position LIZY is looking for an Ops Associate to join our Brussels-based team. Fleet Operations is the backbone of LIZY's business. The team runs across four pillars: purchasing, logistics, commercial operations, and remarketing. This role sits across all four. But let's be direct about where the biggest opportunity lies: remarketing. Think of it as a business within a business. As LIZY matures as a leasing company, remarketing is what drives our realised margin and, ultimately, our business health. We currently process around 50 vehicle returns per month. By 2027, that becomes 2,500 returns per year. Nearly €50M in annual revenue, growing at 100% YoY. The foundation is there. Three sales channels, a proprietary dealer portal, an automation stack but the machine is still young. Your job is to build it out and make it bulletproof before the volume hits. This is not a role for someone who likes to keep things running smoothly. It's a role for someone who looks at a half-built machine and can't wait to finish it. What You'll Be Building Remarketing — your primary focus Scale the remarketing operation across three channels: re-leasing vehicles onto new cycles, B2B sales via auction platforms, and B2B direct sales through our dealer portal (built on Airtable, Softr, Make and n8n). Build the commercial machine from the ground up: map the dealer landscape, design an outreach strategy, onboard partners onto our portal, and turn it into a self-sustaining revenue channel. Own the automation layer: identify every manual step in the remarketing workflow and eliminate it. Make the stack robust enough to handle 4x current volume without breaking. Design the operational infrastructure: claim management, support ticketing, AI-assisted commercial enquiry handling. These systems don't fully exist yet. You'll spec them, build them, and own them. Own our partner network and optimise our B2B sales channel to maximise residual value recovery. The rest of Fleet Ops Depending on where the business needs you most, there's also the possibility to get involved in other Fleet Operations topics such as pricing strategy, demand & supply planning, purchasing, and logistics. About You You've probably been in a role where things were a bit messy, a bit manual, and not quite ready for scale and instead of working around it, you fixed it. You didn't wait to be asked. You mapped the process, identified the gaps, built the solution, and moved on to the next problem. That instinct is what we're hiring for. You are: A builder, not just an operator: You're not satisfied maintaining what exists. You want to design systems, close gaps, and leave things materially better than you found them. Hands-on by default: You don't delegate problems upward. You investigate, decide, and execute then document what you did so it scales beyond you. Tech-native in ops: You're fluent in tools like Airtable, Softr, and n8n. You think in workflows and automations, not spreadsheets and manual steps. Commercially sharp: You understand B2B relationship-building and bring a structured, data-driven approach to commercial decisions. Highly organised: You document everything, manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball, and build processes others can follow. Hungry: You have the restlessness to move fast, the resilience to push through friction, and the pride to care about the quality of what you ship. Your profile: 1 years of experience in ops, consulting, or a high-growth startup, ideally in a context where you had to build, not just run Demonstrable hands-on experience with Airtable, Make, n8n or comparable no-code/automation tools Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to make and defend decisions Full proficiency in French or Dutch, and English (additional languages are a plus) Strong academic record and meaningful extracurriculars Experience in remarketing, used car sales, or fleet management is a genuine plus but evidence of building systems under pressure matters more than industry pedigree.
