This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who excels in troubleshooting and has strong mechanical understanding. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of test machines, both in-house and at customer sites.

Main Responsibilities:

* Start-up and Testing: Ensure all test machines are properly started up and tested during the test phase in the workshop and at customer sites.
* Automation and IT Systems: Take care of the installation, configuration, testing, and debugging of PLC and computer hardware as well as attached programs.
* Maintenance and Quality Control: Perform entry checks, quality tests, and repeatability tests on machines, complete compliant checklists, and prepare corresponding reports.
* Documentation and Training: Maintain necessary documentation during machine buy-offs, train operators and maintenance staff on-site, and provide first-line support to customers.
* Laboratory Measurements: Conduct impartial and confidential measurements in customer labs under lab authority and in accordance with ISO 17025 and ISO 9001.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in electromechanics or equivalent through experience.
* Knowledge of multiple automation and IT systems.
* Experience in a service job is a plus.
* Strong mechanical understanding and broad technical knowledge.
* Autonomous and sense of responsibility.
* Team player.
* Sociable and communicative.
* Eager to learn.
* Creative and hands-on.
* Flexible.
* Fluent in English, being multilingual (French or German) is desirable.

Additional Information:

The successful candidate should be available for relocations within the country and abroad for maximum two weeks, with a target of 50% of annual work time.
