Our client is a well-established public-private partnership uniting around 120 organisations across industry, research, public authorities, suppliers and mobility stakeholders. Their mission: to promote and deploy intelligent transport systems (ITS) across Europe for safer, smarter and greener mobility.
Jobomschrijving
* Handle day-to-day accounting related to European Commission (EC) projects and corporate/departmental transactions.
* Support monthly and annual closing of accounts in line with Belgian and internal accounting standards.
* Prepare and compile periodic financial statements.
* Monitor actual versus budgeted costs for EC projects and corporate activities.
* Ensure administrative and legal requirements for suppliers, corporate and EC contracts are met.
* Provide backup support for other tasks within the financial & administrative department as needed
Jouw profiel
* Minimum ~5 years' accounting experience, with strong knowledge of European VAT rules.
* Skilled in budgeting and managing sensitive financial and administrative data.
* Experience working on EC-funded projects is a strong plus.
* Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
* Comfortable with MS Office tools and ERP software Odoo.

* Highly accurate, discreet, reliable, service-oriented, proactive, flexible, and capable of multitasking.
* Strong attention to detail, deadline-oriented, and able to work independently and within a small team.
