Are you passionate about ensuring reliable IT and operational technology systems in a highly regulated manufacturing environment?
At Amaris Consulting, we are looking for an IT/OT Expert to support and improve shopfloor systems in pharmaceutical production environments. In this role, you will ensure the reliability, security, and continuous improvement of IT and OT systems that support manufacturing operations.
You will work closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to maintain operational continuity while supporting digital transformation initiatives within GMP-regulated environments.
Your Role
As an IT/OT Expert, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and improvement of shopfloor IT and OT systems. You will act as a key technical contact for manufacturing teams and help ensure that systems remain reliable, compliant, and aligned with business needs.
Your Responsibilities
* Ensure the continuous operation and maintenance of IT/OT shopfloor systems
• Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for production systems
• Manage system lifecycle activities including changes, upgrades, and enhancements
• Support the deployment of IT/OT projects in collaboration with engineering teams
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to implement technical solutions
• Support validation, compliance, and documentation activities for regulated systems
• Identify and mitigate operational and technical risks related to IT/OT systems
• Support audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Contribute to cybersecurity and infrastructure initiatives, including NIS2 and ISO27001
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve system reliability and performance
Your Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, or a related technical field
• 3+ years of experience in IT within a manufacturing environment (preferably pharmaceutical)
• Experience supporting shopfloor systems or industrial automation platforms
• Understanding of GxP regulations, data integrity, and 21 CFR Part 11
• Knowledge of IT/OT infrastructure and networking
• Familiarity with Computerized System Validation (CSV) processes
• Experience with systems such as SCADA or industrial platforms (e.g., Siemens) is a plus
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Fluent in English and French
