As a Senior Consultant in Public Procurement, you will play a key role in advising public sector clients on complex procurement challenges while ensuring compliance with local and European procurement regulations. You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team to support clients in developing procurement strategies, optimizing tender processes, and navigating legal and regulatory frameworks. Your expertise will help public sector organizations achieve value for money, transparency, and efficiency in their procurement activities.
* Tender Management: Lead and supports public procurement processes, including drafting tender documents, managing bidder interactions, and ensuring compliance with procurement laws.
* Regulatory Compliance: Advise clients on national and EU public procurement legislation, ensuring all processes adhere to legal frameworks and minimize risk.
* Market Consultations: Conduct market analyses and consultations to help clients identify the best procurement options and supplier solutions.
* Contract Management and Negotiations: Assist in drafting and revising contracts, and support clients during the negotiation phase to secure favorable terms.

Requirements
* Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience in public procurement, with a strong understanding of both Belgian and European procurement regulations.
* Sector Knowledge: Experience working with public sector organizations or government bodies, with a clear understanding of public procurement processes and legal frameworks.
* Languages: Fluency in Dutch and/or French is mandatory; English proficiency is highly valued.
* Education: A Master’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field.
* Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to assess complex procurement situations to provide actionable insights.
