Job Description
As Pricing Officer, you will contribute to developing competitive, profitable, and well-thought-out pricing strategies for our products. Your responsibilities include considering costs, margins, and other commercial factors, working closely with team members and other departments such as purchasing, sales, and supply chain management. You will gather competitive intelligence, monitor raw material prices, and support sales negotiations. Additionally, you will track margins and proactively work to maintain or improve them, while also suggesting tools and process improvements for pricing activities.
Responsibilities
* Develop and prepare price quotes.
* Maintain periodic customer price lists.
* Update internal lists for raw material, transportation, and production costs.
* Support commercial strategies with data analysis.
* Monitor margins and take actions to safeguard or enhance them.
* Evaluate the success of pricing strategies.
* Contribute to the S&OP process.
Candidate Profile
* Bachelor's degree or higher.
* Experience in a similar role preferred, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
* Proficiency in Dutch and English; knowledge of French and/or German is a plus.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* ERP system knowledge is advantageous.
