PpWe are a Belgian engineering consulting firm that assists SMEs and large industrial organizations in bringing their innovation and RD initiatives to life. /p h3Job Description /h3 pConducting studies for the design of mechanical/piping installations for investment projects on site, from concept to execution, under the supervision of the engineering project manager. /p h3Project Description /h3 pYour task is to participate in engineering projects for the site facilities and the different business units EOM CSM to modernize, adapt and expand their hydro- and pyrometallurgical production facilities on site. /p h3Primary Tasks Responsibilities /h3 ul liTranslate client requirements into a technical design for equipment, piping, and mechanical components of an installation. /li liProvide input and coordinate the drawing of PFDs and PIDs by a drafter. /li liDesign layout plans, mechanical structures, and components in 3D, create detailed drawings, or coordinate the drafting by a drafter. /li liPrepare piping specifications (including isometrics). /li liPerform basic calculations (pipe resistance, pump calculations, pipe sizing, determining PED class, heat capacity, etc.). /li liProvide advice for risk analyses and ensure the implementation of measures in the design. /li liPrepare specifications/requirement books for bidding and execution files. /li liParticipate in procurement activities related to projects (from inquiry, through ordering and delivery, to completion and invoicing). /li liPrepare budgets and contribute to planning for your discipline. /li liRespect agreed quality, deadlines, and budgets. /li liDiscuss the construction file with site managers regarding project realization and provide technical support during execution and startup of the project. /li liMaintain contacts with internal clients and external partners/contractors. /li liMonitor the quality of work delivered by external partners/contractors. /li liArchive documents and ensure an as-built technical construction file is maintained. /li /ul h3Profile / Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanics or Electromechanics or equivalent through experience. /li li5+ years of relevant experience in designing process installations in an industrial environment. /li liExperience with AutoCAD and ACAD Plant 3D software (experience with Revit, Inventor, or other programs is a plus). /li liExperience in setting up 3D layouts is a plus. /li liOperational knowledge of legal regulations and guidelines (PED, ATEX, VLAREM, etc.) is a plus. /li liBasic knowledge of chemistry, electricity, and automation, along with necessary material knowledge. /li /ul h3Non-Technical Profile Requirements /h3 ul liSkilled in analyzing, reporting, organizing, and solving technical issues. /li liA team player with strong communication and social skills. /li liProficient in using office software packages. /li /ul h3Certifications /h3 ul liVCA is mandatory /li /ul h3Language proficiencies /h3 ul liFluent in Dutch English /li liBasic knowledge of German French /li /ul h3Location /h3 ul liOn site presence is mandatory. /li /ul h3Why join us? /h3 pWe offer you a position as a consultant within the fascinating world of high tech and innovation.
