Job Description
The Site Director is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve costs, quality and quantity in teamwork and improve a constructive environment. One of the main objectives is to research and implement innovative methods for production processes as well as to apply lean manufacturing principles.
1. Manage all production activities regarding quantity, quality, costs, maintenance, logistics, supply, etc.
2. Define and implement the strategic 5-year plan regarding the plant.
3. Coordinate and align production and staff planning.
4. Establish and monitor KPI's concerning production, quality, and finances.
5. Execute and manage investment projects (capex).
6. Prepare and follow up on budgets, manage operational expenses, and investigate cost-saving measures.
7. Co-develop and implement an HR policy.
8. Develop a safety and sustainability policy.
9. Point of contact for local authorities and stakeholders.
