Battery Materials

To enable our customers to produce even better performing batteries we cannot stand still. We need to find new ways to do things, discover new solutions and develop new ideas. What you will be doing
As an Anaplan Solution Architect at Umicore, you'll join our Battery Materials division and play an important role in expanding the impact of Anaplan across supply chain and finance. You'll design, build, and maintain innovative Anaplan models, take the lead in operating existing solutions, and contribute to shaping the future of Umicore's enterprise performance management landscape that empower data-driven decisions. Working closely with the Anaplan Platform Owner, a team of model builders, and the data steward, you'll help reinforce and grow our Anaplan footprint, tackling exciting challenges such as optimizing existing processes and enhancing supply chain and financial forecasting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Architect and implement Anaplan models that streamline supply chain and financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.
2. Take the lead in operating and maintaining existing Anaplan models, ensuring performance and reliability.
3. Collaborate with supply chain and finance stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver fit-to-purpose Anaplan solutions.
4. Drive the technical design of change requests and new planning solutions.
5. Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the Anaplan environment in collaboration with data steward.
6. Empower end-users with expert guidance, training, and troubleshooting support.
7. Stay ahead of Anaplan's latest features and best practices, bringing fresh ideas to elevate our platform capabilities.
Who we are looking for
8. Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
9. Minimum 5-years working experience with a track record of successful implementations.
10. Proven expertise in designing and building Anaplan models.
11. Anaplan certifications (e.g., Model Builder, Solution Architect) are a strong asset.
12. Strong understanding of supply chain or financial planning processes, with the ability to translate complex needs into effective solutions.
13. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with a passion for innovation.
14. Self-driven and team-oriented, excelling in both independent and collaborative settings.
15. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences and foster strong partnerships.
16. Experience with other planning tools is a plus, but a dedication to mastering Anaplan is key.
