Amaris Consulting is looking for a skilled and proactive Product Owner to join our team in Brussels. In this role, you will take ownership of product vision, backlog management, and delivery coordination within dynamic, cross-functional teams. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that business objectives are translated into valuable digital solutions.
🔥 Your Responsibilities:
* Be the key link between business stakeholders and technical teams.
* Gather, define, and translate business needs into clear user stories and functional specifications.
* Build, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals.
* Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
* Lead stakeholder workshops, manage expectations, and maintain a strong product vision.
* Collaborate with developers and UX/UI teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
* Track product performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
* Support testing, go-live activities, and post-deployment analysis.
🎯 Your Profile:
* You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
* You have 3 to 5 years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Project Manager role in an Agile environment.
* Solid understanding of product lifecycle management, Agile/Scrum principles, and software delivery.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident in working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Fluent in English and French (written and spoken) – mandatory.
* Dutch is a strong asset, especially when collaborating with local stakeholders.
* Experience in sectors like banking, insurance, or financial services is a plus.
* Comfortable working on-site in Brussels with some flexibility depending on client/project.
