Our client is a global leader in total fuel management and advanced fuel and oil analysis, supporting more than 600 clients and over 9,000 vessels each year.Known as a "problem‐solving group," our partner supports the maritime and energy industries with integrated technical services designed to enhance operational reliability, regulatory compliance, and sustainability. They currently recruit a Sales & Marketing Executive M/F, based in Belgium (Antwerp) or The Netherlands (Rotterdam).

Responsabilities:

The Sales and Marketing Executive's responsibilities include generating unique sales plans, developing pricing and marketing strategies, and meeting marketing and sales objectives. This role represents the company's brand and drives strategies to increase product awareness by closely observing the market, competitors, and industry trends. Here are the main tasks of the role :

Sales Development & Revenue Growth

* Increase sales revenue through new customer acquisition, bundled offers, and upselling existing services.
* Achieve the Group's annual growth and revenue objectives.
* Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients through regular visits, understanding their needs, and identifying new business opportunities.
* Implement innovative sales and promotional initiatives to enhance product visibility.
* Represent the organization at trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events across Southern Europe.

Marketing Strategy & Business Expansion

* Plan, implement, and standardize marketing strategies in coordination with the CMO, Board of Directors, and Business Directors to expand revenue, market share, and geographic presence.
* Develop and execute the annual marketing plan, meeting defined and measurable targets.
* Oversee digital marketing initiatives and manage external marketing service providers.

Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence

* Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, understand customer expectations, and analyze competitor activities.
* Collect and interpret market data to generate actionable insights and strategic reports.
* Stay up to date with industry developments by attending training programs, conferences, and workshops, reading relevant publications, and maintaining professional networks.

Internal Coordination & Operational Management

* Collaborate with internal technical and project teams to ensure seamless execution of customer requirements.
* Monitor regional performance, prepare forecasts, and report progress to senior management.

Candidate Profile:

Education, Languages & Mobility

* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
* Fluency in English and at least one Southern European language (Spanish, Italian, or French preferred).
* Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as required.

Experience & Industry Background

* Background in the maritime industry with 2–5 years of sales experience.
* Experience in management or key account handling is preferred.
* Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles.

* Strong closing and negotiation abilities, capable of presenting multiple product lines.
* Analytical, creative, and strategic thinker with excellent organizational skills.
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
* Ability to understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
* Comfortable working under pressure and achieving ambitious targets.
