The CAR‐T Learning and Development (L&D) Lead will define, implement, and manage the comprehensive training and development strategy for the rapidly growing and highly specialized EMEA CAR‐T organization.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Strategy Implementation: Develop, implement, and continuously refine the L&D strategy tailored for the J&J CAR‐T EMEA organization.
Needs Analysis: Proactively conduct training needs analysis (TNA) by engaging closely with department and business leads to identify competency gaps.
Curriculum Design: Continuously improve the current training portfolio, including converting individual training sessions into structured, engaging training programs.
Training Infrastructure: Optimize the L&D matrix and collaborate with the Documentation Office team to ensure an efficient and compliant curriculum structure.
Training Management: Oversee all training planning, monitor scheduled training sessions, and implement new required training programs.
Cross‐Functional Alignment: Maintain continuous and effective alignment with critical internal stakeholders, including HR, Quality, Business Excellence, the Legend partner organization, and CAR‐T counterparts in Raritan.
External Relations: Manage relationships with external training providers and lead university/college relations for talent attraction, curriculum input, and internship monitoring.
Team Management: Manage and coach direct reports, including the newly recruited L&D Specialist and the administrative staff responsible for the practical organization of training events.
Subsidy Management: Lead the administration of the STS (subsidy file for training costs) application, including data collection from the Summit system and report preparation for timely submission.
System Ownership: Act as a key user/owner for L&D platforms, specifically the Summit training system and J&J Learn.
Young Graduate Program: Potentially serve as the Development Lead for the Supply Chain CAR‐T Young Graduate Program, including coaching participants and assisting with the recruitment process.

What You Will Bring:
Proven experience in a Learning & Development role, preferably in a complex or highly regulated industry.
Demonstrated ability to manage and influence diverse senior‐level stakeholders, including internal leadership, partners, and external academic institutions.
Expertise in using Learning Management Systems, specifically Summit (or a similar enterprise training management system) and J&J Learn (or a similar corporate LMS).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
A strong focus on quality mindset and continuous improvement.
Prior L&D experience within the Pharma, BioTech, or a specific GMP environment is a significant asset.
Experience in a rapidly evolving or start‐up environment.
Experience in coaching, mentoring, or managing direct reports and/or early talent programs.
Full professional proficiency in Dutch and English (reading, speaking, writing).
This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run until Sep 13 2026 .
