Our client, a prominent organization in the human resources and social insurance sector, is seeking an Azure Cloud Architect to drive their cloud-native strategy. This role involves defining architectural visions and ensuring the Azure environment remains secure, scalable, and future-proof through both strategic planning and hands‑on implementation.
Responsibilities
Design and manage the Azure cloud architecture including governance, landing zones, security, and networking.
Define cloud standards, reference architectures, and best practices for engineering teams.
Implement infrastructure solutions using 60% hands‑on Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
Advise stakeholders on cloud strategy, modernization, and the integration of new Azure services.
Guide delivery teams in DevOps principles and CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions.
Perform architectural reviews, risk analyses, and technical validations to maintain system integrity.
Document architectural decisions and maintain comprehensive decision records.
Requirements
5+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions within the Azure ecosystem.
Extensive experience with Azure governance, landing zones, security, identity, networking, and cost management.
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Strong knowledge of SDLC and CI/CD processes.
Experience working within a complex enterprise context.
Strong communication and influencing skills with a strategic mindset.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
Nice to Haves
Possession of Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
