AI EngineerTo support its ambitious production and product development roadmap, Thales is expanding its system team and is seeking an AI Engineer.As an AI Engineer, you will join a multidisciplinary development team within the Engineering department. Conduct performance analysis and drive continuous improvement of the in-site production line by monitoring KPIs and adjusting AI models based on collected data You will be expected to support multiple projects, necessitating strong planning and organizational skills. Participate in the design, configuration, and deployment of innovative AI tools aimed at analyzing production data and optimizing Non-Conformity Report (NCR) managementCollaborate with Industrialization and Quality teams to train AI models, enhance calibration procedures, and address deviations identified during acceptance testing • Model physical behaviors of new concepts and conduct simulations to support development efforts and facilitate critical technical decision-makingEngage with Bid & Project teams to prepare technical proposals and respond to customer inquiries effectively • Participate in trials and firing campaigns, processing flight test data for analysis and reportingCollaborate with Industrialization teams to ensure the continuous integration and deployment of AI solutions within production environmentsEngineering degree, Master, PhD in computer science, AI, applied mathematics, Aeronautics, Informatics or related fields.Experience: previous experience (1 to 3 years minimum, including significant internships) in developing AI solutions.You are proficient in Python, particularly in data processing, AI applications, and automation tasksYou possess experience in Machine Learning and Deep Learning, with proficiency in frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learnYou have a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence and actively follow the latest trends and innovations in the field.You have knowledge of MATLAB and SimulinkYou demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly and conciselyFamiliarity with optimization algorithms, including genetic algorithms, convex optimization, and Bayesian optimization techniques, is considered a plusC/C++, git, devOps, docker, Jenkins, Bitbucket is a plus
