Role and Responsibilities
Your role
As a Clinical Application Specialist, you are the face of our cutting-edge ultrasound solutions. You will demonstrate our systems, train clinical users, customize configurations, and guide healthcare professionals in maximizing the value of new features and workflows.
Your mission is to boost product awareness, drive preference, and accelerate clinical adoption while developing strong, lasting relationships with customers that fuel long-term business growth in the region.
You’ll focus primarily on Ultrasound but will also support our broader Samsung Healthcare portfolio, including Digital Radiography (DR) and Healthcare IT solutions.
Your responsibilities
1. Deliver impactful product demonstrations and provide expert guidance during the pre-sales process
2. Act as a trusted clinical advisor for both customers and the sales team
3. Promote and train on new product features and clinical applications to drive adoption
4. Organize and lead training sessions, workshops, webinars, and clinical events
5. Represent Samsung at trade shows, congresses, symposia, and hands-on training courses
6. Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders and other clinical stakeholders
7. Maintain ongoing contact with users to ensure optimal system performance
8. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new commercial opportunities
9. Collaborate on marketing content creation (e.g., whitepapers, success stories, customer testimonials)
10. Provide feedback to product management for continuous product improvement
Skills and Qualifications
Your skills and qualifications
11. A Bachelor’s degree in Ultrasound or a related field
12. Solid clinical background and hands-on experience with ultrasound applications
13. Proven experience as a Clinical Application Specialist
14. Expertise in Radiology, OB/GYN and/or Cardiology, in both public and private sectors
15. Strong commercial awareness—experience in sales or marketing is a plus
16. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with stakeholders
17. Analytical and strategic thinking to identify trends and translate insights into actions
18. Willingness to travel frequently across Belgium and Luxembourg (and occasionally to the Netherlands)
19. Fluency in Dutch, French, and English is essential
